The last few kitkats I got I noticed that they are crunchier then usual and they taste slightly different to. More brown sugar in them I think. Even ones from multipacks seem to be the same. Maybe others noticed?

Look most confectionery nowadays, as well as making them smaller and increasing the RRP, I suspect they are also reducing the manufacturing costs.

    Another incentive to reduce intake!

They had to take a break from the original recipe...

    I'll get me coat.

    Glazers Out!

It seems to be slightly darker chocolate. Tastes good though.

What an awful pun! It deserves two fingers.

You can really taste the hard sugar granules in them now. I like the extra crunchier texture to be honest.

What do you say to a constipated cat?

    "Have a break, have a sh1t cat!"

    Blame the sugar tax.

But then again, companies have been doing "new and improved" recipes for ages to cut costs on ingredients to weigh in more profits. Coco Pops is absolutely **** now with their "new and improved", for example...

Would be great if they gave us options leaving the 'original' with a higher price. But nope...! :(

Cadburys has been ruined by Kraft or whoever the parent company is.

Everything slowly turning to American cr@p chocolate. Think it's more sugar, less cocoa.

Don't get me started about the yellow snack. Fkin hell! God be with the days when chocolate tasted good - i found myself staring into the abyss in circle K yesterday trying to pick a bar which hasn't gone to fk lately.

Aldi and Lidl... don't quit on me now guys. You're the only place i can get palatable chocolate!

More coco added and less sugar. Happened at least 6 months ago. Sugar tax effects

I think a good rule of thumb is, if the chocolate is being advertised on tv/newspaper/online it won't taste very good.
