I live in an apartment with a communal sky installed dish on the roof. I want to get freesat setup. Any installer in the Galway area .
We are not allowed to put up our own dish.

    Regards

    John .

Do you currently have a sky box set up from the dish into your apt?
If so, you can just cancel sky, buy a Freeview box and swap it out. It should work straight out of the box.

    Most definitely NOT.

Freeview boxes are to receive the terrestrial UK signals and not the Satellite signals.

Freesat then. The point I was making is OP May already have the required wiring done anc just needs to replace his sly box with something else.
