05 avensis stereo and heater not lighting up

    Hi all so just bought a cheap and cheerful 2005 avensis 1.6 vvti, just noticed the stereo does not work at all, does not switch on. Also the lights for the stereo and indeed the heater switches don’t light up. And also the trip computer situated above the stereo doesn’t work at all.
    Ive also no cigarette lighter. It seems the whole console isn’t getting power but the heater itself is working as normal with the switches as also is the rear window de mister. Map lights and other electrical parts of car seem to be working fine.
    Any idea if this is a relay or fuse issue?
    Any help appreciated.

    Check all the fuses, and the contacts in the fuse box(es).
