Which Record Player should I get?

So I am looking to invest in a record player. It does not need to have built-in speakers. My budget is around $200. It'll be used to casual playback in my apartment only.

Anybody able to lead me on the path to picking the ideal record player for my needs?

If you can stretch to about 250 then the Audio Technica LP-120 is a great turntable

Yeah, I read a lot of good stuff about the LP-120. I also see lots of comprehensive guides rank it #1 within that budget range.
How do you feel it compares to the LP-1240?
