Removing an active job from Revenue Account

    I am looking to remove a job that's currently listed as "Active" on my Revenue Account. I don't understand why it's there as it's an old job I worked in briefly before leaving.
    I've gone to My Account, Add jobs or pension, and the job is there but there is no way to delete/remove. Do I need to call revenue to do this?

    Have you ever gotten a P45 from this employer? Revenue haven't, that's why the employment still appears active on your record.

    Without the P45, Revenue have no way of knowing you no longer work there
