    Tax is based on C02 emissions. Not the engine size.

    It's €1200 per year according to the motortax website.

    I'd also reservations around who is selling it but not going to go into details on this thread. PM me if you want more info.

    I went to school with him, i'd have more reservation about main dealers in limerick, he has lots of insurance salvage but the cars out the front aren't. A lot have high miles though, I know a trustable mechanic very near by with a ramp etc you could take it up to up he'll spot crash damage a mile off, if you tell them where your taking it shouldn't be any issue, pm if you want the guys details to check out if your going looking at it.

    I bought my present car off them, they’d no problem giving me the car for 24 hours.
    My mechanic looked it over and gave it a thumbs up.

    Each car has to bejudged on its own merits. Just make sure you have it checked over prior to purchase ... I’ll tell you one thing op. Paying rip off rates of motor tax gets old pretty quick. Do you absolutely want the 3L?
