Home leg muscle workout

Over the years I've just been doing running and wide stance squats. I'm going to start exercising my adductors with a band at home. I felt this is enough for someone who's aim is to be toned.

But I do like to think that I'm exercising every muscles in my legs by the same amount. Whenever I used to have gym membership I used the adductor machine, as well as the similar looking machine where you push the opposite way (forget what it's called?).

For some reason I always viewed those as the two leg muscles that one can't really exercise outside a gym. This also brings cycling to mind. With cycling I always felt that you're working the quad more than the hamstring. So I'd never bother working my quads in the gym because I'd be using the bike.

    There my thoughts.

An indoor rebounder/trampoline? Gives you a decent work out, my young fella could kick balls through walls after a summer on it.

Some ideas for leg workouts at home that can help. These are all bodyweight.

    Shrimp squats
    Pistol squats
    Sissy Squats
    Harop Curls
    Cossack squats
    Calf Raises

Those are to name a few. I actually do middle splits for my adductors if you can hold your weight in that position your not doing badly but I know thats outside of most peoples focus, Outside of that Cossack squats will do a lot to help.

Yes, squats and lunges are very good for leg muscles.
