I am taking old chalk slabs off partition wall in bathroom as they are not in great condition and was never skimmed over. I’m wondering what material I should get to put back on partition in preparation to be tiled. I heard ply or concrete board. There will be a walk in shower against wall also. Any help appreciated thanks
