Black Friday Deals

    Hi,

I am building a new kitchen as an extension to my house which I hope to have completed by the end of March next year, involves all new appliances; cooker, fridge, dishwasher & microwave.

Initially we said we would hold off till closer to completion before buying appliances as we would be more aware of how our budget is going but we have been advised that we could make a big savings by buying them on black Friday. Just to clarify it was an employee of an electrical store who said this!

Basically is there huge savings to be made on black Friday in comparison to, say January, or is it just another marketing ploy?

    Thanks

I thought that "black Friday" had been all but abandoned here, after all it's an American thing.

'Trick or Treat' is also an 'American thing' but it's now here to stay.

Appliances Delivered have been plugging a black Friday sale on the radio for the past few days.

Why would you think that? Last year, most shops had Black Friday deals.
