Moving from Sky BB to VF BB phone switched, no engineer called to fix router?

    A VF rep called to a neighbour recently(they are elderly, the neighbour that is) and signed them up for a VF package, fibre BB and phone, for 25 a month for 6 months and 50 thereafter. They said we wont know how to connect it up!! no problem, an engineer will be sent out. Today router arrives, phone has been switched, they got a message saying so. They rang VF about engineer, and .. sorry no engineer will call just plug it in.

    They have sky multiroom with on demand and boxes are connected to sky router via wi fi, they like box sets.

    If I connect VF router tomorrow will it automatically switch to VF bb or is there a waiting period?

    And can they have phone with VF and BB with sky?

    I have come across this many times with our customers changing over to Vodafone dsl for Business, the reps tell a bunch of lies to to get the sale through.

    A lot of business customer change back to eir or another provider after they have issues with the dsl and cant get any proper support from vodafone.

    thank you, done a bit more digging and its a nightmare but could be a big saving if it works ok!!
