The Intreo office in Dun Laoghaire located beside D.L.F.E.I. was closed today due to flooding.

I came down on the 7A bus this afternoon from Temple Hill in Monkstown to do the monthly signing. I walked up to the front door before 3pm today; I saw a security guard there telling people it was closed today because of health & safety rules due to flooding inside the office. He told 3 people outside including myself that this SW office is only having limited opening hours from 9:15am until 2pm tomorrow. Anyone in for the monthly signing today will have to go in tomorrow morning.

Luckily; I got paid the Jobseeker's Allowance at Blackrock Post Office today. I'm not sure if Jobseeker's Benefit was paid today or not for those who were due to sign on at Dun Laoghaire today. I assume the crowds trying to sign in the morning will not be happy with waiting in long queues to relieve the backlog from today.

Will this office definitely open tomorrow morning as planned or will there be more delays from tommorow onwards? TIA.

I will give you an update from my previous post made last night. The Intreo office in DL, which is right beside the college in Cumberland Street, is now closed until furher notice. I found a notice on the front door which was put up on the front door of the building to say that the office is closed due to unforeseen circumstances. I presume that will be the flooding that hit the office recently. The notices also said anyone is signing for JA/JB that their next signing date is on Tuesday the 4th of December.
