My Mum told me that my sister would have been entitled to a 1000 euro grant from Social welfare or possibly Hea 14 years ago which was for all 1st year students starting in 3Rd level. She said back then she was ringing around various offices to see how to apply and got nowhere with answering machines etc. She asked me would I think she could still claim for it hence this posting. It might have been a government budget measure or initiative back then. Well good posters of boards what do you think. Would it be worthwhile looking into it for my Mum?
