Not signing back on directly after course

    Hi
    I'm currently doing a fas course that finishes in two weeks and then on the friday I finish I'm flying out for 3 weeks for the sisters wedding, would it be ok to sign back on when I get back in mid december ?

    It would be OK as long as you weren't drawing any welfare payment during the 3 weeks!

    Won't be claiming anything while away, was just worried as I thought you had to sign back on straight away.

    They won't mind in the least as you're not costing the State any money!

    They'd be much more put out to discover that you had been drawing JA or JB while you were out of the country on a 3 week jolly!
