One side of our house which was externally insulated and pebbledashed a couple of years ago has turned green. It gets no sunlight due to neighbours leylandi trees which are quite close and are huge. Neighbour not willing to cut back or trim. Any advice on best way to clean pebbledash, and maintain.

Read the warranty you were given by ewi contractor. Typically acrylic renders ahoyld be washed down yearly

Why did you get a pebble dash finish?

You have to wash it regularly.

The finish instructions would tell you they are not suitable for close proximity to heavy vegetation.

If you are close to heavy vegetation regularly washing is the only solution.

There is fungicide washes you spray on the surface.and then power hose down.

Thanks, house was done 10 years ago, we got a warranty for work done, but didn't include any details for maintenance. We got peppledash to avoid painting, -though i think that side will turn green whether painted or peppledashed. Husband has sprayed and hosed down before, bit didn't work to well. Not sure what solution he used, but will look into mossgo.

I have used cheap bleach from aldi, left it on overnight and lovely clean wall following morning needing only a quick shot of the hose.

    Pressure wash. Not hose.
