Hi all,i started a tus course last September which i'm really enjoying, i'm sure I read somewhere(but can't remember where)that said if your on a tus scheme and your over 60 you can stay on your placement for more than a year, and if i'm not mistaken until you reach pension age,has anyone any info on this?

    cheers.

Tús placements last for a year and participating again can only be after three years. For CE Schemes those of 62 and over who meet eligibility requirements can stay on until they reach pension age.

Thanks Balagan1, I've been racking my brains trying to remember where I read about the placement duration,it roughly said if you are in your late fifties you can extend the course by 3 years and if over 60 can extend till pension age. is there some other scheme where these rules are implemented or am I confused about what I read previously?

Just wondering if anyone knows if you are entitled to the Fuel Allowance when you are finished Tús and back on jobseekers? I was getting it before Tús.
