    I'm leaving my rented accommodation - I have a nest and I want to take it with me and put the old one back on. Is this something I can do myself or do I need an electrician? I'm sure its a 5 minute job for someone who knows how..

    You just need the right philips screwdrivers.
    I did it myself and replaced it with the old controller. Just make sure you remove the fuse to the controller.
