    It may well be going ahead but the rail link spur is still very uncertain. Irish Rail do not have the wagons for 2 of the 3 typs of traffic that are proposed to use this or loading and unloading ability. No wagons for oil or agri feed, could possibly use the old shale wagons and all fert wagons are long gone.

    Agri feed and fertiliser could use rebogied vans from elsewhere and oil by rail is unlikely as the country is ringed will sea served oil terminals with local delivery by road..

    Or they could just lose the run of themselves and buy new /second hand wagons.:D
