    Very interesting document, I would love to see the LRC do something similar for here, though some of the Acts mentioned may have applied here at one stage.

    The Dublin Police Act 1842 and the Summary Jurisdiction Act (Ireland) Act 1851 (both still in force by the way) had some interesting similar laws as mentioned in the document for example which technically still apply today such as the beating of a carpet on the side of the road or playing games on the road to the annoyance of others.

    Surprised the document does not mention the common Policeman's hat requirement to exercise their powers misconception:)
