New job, underpaying tax

Hi, I started a new job recently, I've been paid twice since joining. The first payment was for a full month plus some backpay, I was emergency taxed. This month though I've been refunded all the emergency tax along with not paying any tax on the actual wages so I was paid more than my gross. My tax code is N now. I was working full time up to this. I registered myself with Revenue using the new employer number and I went on MyAccount and set my tax credits against my new employer. I didn't provide them with my P45 when I started as my old employer never sent it in the post.

I obviously haven't paid the correct tax though. When you compare my gross and net from the new job I've paid basically nothing. Will/should this be deducted now next month? Do I talk to Revenue or my employer?

That's quiet normal when you get back tax.
Wait till next month and then you'll be wishing it weren't true:)

I mean I obviously want to be back on an even keel here. So it'll likely be adjusted next month and that'll be it?

Did you work previously this year?

If you haven't submitted a P45, maybe your income from your previous job hasn't been taken into consideration.
    Give Revenue a call.
Ask your employer to tax you on on 'week 1' basis until they receive updated details from revenue.
