How come every time something happens in the gulf, some media has a headline...

    "World war 3 alert"

It's probably frightening the bejaysus out of some poor snowflakes....

What a stupid headline, over a few Iranian boat's shadowing a royal navy or American ship..

In all fairness it's common enough.... world war 3 alert pmsl

Do you have an example of such a headline?

Maybe you're reading the wrong media?

I thought this was going to be about Trump pulling out of the nuclear missile treaty

We are 2 minutes to midnight on doomsday clock which means the possibility of all out nuclear war is as likely as it ever was.

One spark could set everything alight.

Not a mention of any alert on the radio, or TV or either of my two newspapers today. What is this media I should be accessing for more accurate information?

Common to the Express. You really need to get proper news from a proper source. It's a sensationalist rag.

It must be true so. Glad I dug that bunker in the 60s.

We're probably in need of a cull to be brutally honest.

Or maybe a reset of some sorts.

Maybe I should change the heading of my post, but don't know how...

    It doesn't actually mean that.

It signifies the possibility of catastrophe so this could be caused by disease, climate change etc. Not just nuclear war.

Bad planning. Canned beans will be at a massive premium when it all kicks off. I suggest you head of to Tesco to get a pallet of the stuff. That's what everyone else has done. Remember - be prepared.

You think that's bad , I was just going to ask one the women I work if she fancied a back scuttle in the store room.

Tesco are giving away a free Blazing Saddles DVD with every pallet bought. I think they're actually trying to kick WW3 off!

The Express? If it's not a story about Princess Di, it's bad weather ...or world war.

    ha!

I still have two hundred tins of beans, two thousand tea bags and forty six loaves of Brennans in the freezer from February.

shame the seventy litres of milk went off, but it made a load of scones.

and they said I was mad

This store room doesn't house beans by any chance?

WWIII is well over due IMHO.

WW3 is a certainty, it will probably happen this century

Who will start it? United States of Israel

The only country that can drop atomic bombs and not have anyone call them up on it

Yep. I imagine I’d be sitting there (if I survive) with my grand child watching the likes of Attack on Capitol Hill staring Dewan Johnson as a 73 year old president.
