Leaking condenser dryer

Hi. Have a hotpoint condenser dryer which is leaking water from the heater element casing. (The sponge at the bottom of the casing is wet also).

    Some background to the issue:

Noticed the dryer was leaking water last week and not filling condensate collection drawer fully. Fully cleaned out the condenser at the bottom of the machine, dried up the water pooling inside the condenser housing and the lint which gathered there, and cleaned out the pump plus housing at the back of the machine.

After doing this, the condensate drawer filled as it used to and no more leaks. I checked all week and no leaks. I now noticed today that heater element housing is leaking again and the sponge under same is wet again. Albeit, the amount of water leaking is significantly less.

I have looked at all the above again and nothing appears to need cleaning. Condensate drawer is collecting as it should too.

Any ideas why I’m getting water leaking from the heater element casing again? Machine is Circa 4 years old and never had this issue until now.

    Thanks

remove the pump which is at the bottom rhs at back, it is clogged up in there , clean and reassemble and make sure the little impellar is not broken
