    Hi,
I want to apply for a divorce. My Ex and I have been living apart for 4 years now.
I have a new partner and we have a child now and we want to move forward with our lives together.
So I am going to apply for a divorce I have the following completed and ready to submit
    1) Indorsement of Claim
    2) Affidavit of means

My new partner doesn't want my ex to know we have a child as she doesn't fell it is anything to do with my ex.
However I am unsure as to whether I have to complete an

    1) Affidavit of Welfare

as my child is not a child of the marriage.

Is there any guidance anyone can give me in relation to as whether I need to mention my new child in the divorce proceedings?

Your affidavit of means will have to list all your outgoings so there's no way in hell you'll be able to hide the fact that you've a child.

An affidavit of welfare is only required for children from the marriage. The indorsement of claim will not contain any children therefore no affidavit of welfare will be needed.

If you are not looking for any financial support from your ex your affidavit of means will only be see by the judge.
