Creaking clutch

Bought a used car. Didn't notice during the test drive but about a day after I noticed a loud creaking from the clutch. It's a 09 Galaxy 2.0.

I read a ford TIS advising greasing the pivot points on the pedal spring which I did. Also checked the pedal switch.

It only creaks in and out of first second and third never fourth fifth or sixth. Happens a lot but not necessarily all the time.

Is there a way to work out if it is the pedal, the release bearing our could it be the dmf.

It sounds like it's coming from the pedal but I'm not 100%. Car feels fine to drive and shift, no gear slip etc.

Does it creak if you press the clutch pedal with the engine not running?

You could give it a little dose of WD40.
If that works then use white lithium grease or similar for long-lasting lubing
