My husband and I separated a year ago and he is now living in the North while I live in the South. We don't have kids but we do have properties together. Can he divorce me quickly from the North? Or does he have to live by our rules as we married in the South? by our rules, I mean wait 4 years before divorce. Thanks.

As I understand it, any divorce needs to be sought where the person resides, not where they were married.

UK has 'quickie' divorces, but I don't know if that applies in Northern Ireland.
