Sean Gallagher has made a lot of mileage and money out of that fake tweet.

He would have lost the election regardless, he admitted that night to being a bagman for Fianna Fail at a time they were utterly toxic. That's where he lost it.

The tweet said that Sinn Fein would present a convicted criminal the next day at a press conference to say Gallagher had tapped him up.

The man existed and Gallagher tapped him up for a donation, he later came forward.
