    Hi lads,

Could anyone tell me is it possible to wire a LED light bar to an ifor williams tipper trailer and run it off the battery that powers the hydraulic ram.

Can I just wire it directly or if it is possible do I need to wire it using a wiring harness.

    Any help appreciated. Cheers.

How many amps does it draw?
Would the rear fog lamp supply power it?
Easy to flick on the fog light switch when you want to light up inside yhe trailer.

These are the specs on the lightbar :

    12/24V LED light bar
    126w (42 x 3w)
Spot/flood dual beam pattern for wide view and long distance
Waterproof and dustproof to IP67 Rating
    High intensity long life LEDs
    8820LM

Going by that it should draw about 10 amps. Is it possible to just wire the lightbar into the 13 pin trailer socket?

    Cheers for the help.
