I am thinking about replacing my old Panasonic TV set, and want to buy the best.
What is the preferred TV manufacturer at present? What TV would you recommend?
    Thanks.

Sony, LG or Samsung in the main but it really depends on your budget and expectations

    Slave1, thanks for sound advice.
As my previous set was a Panasonic and I have a soft spot for the European Philips, I want to keep them with my options.
I think I need a Smart TV, LED, and about 80 cm.
    I would welcome more replies.
