We are looking to replace a 06 smax 2.0tdci with an estate car. It won't be doing high miles, 6000 mls a year approx mainly short runs. Would ideally not want to spend over 10 or 11k, and be 2013 or better.

The s-max is starting to wear fast. I would like some views pls, I like the look of the hyundai i40 myself
    Thanks

I can vouch for the Superb as I own one myself (new model 171 though, so out of budget). Diesel also, as I do 30k kilometers/year whereas you really are in petrol territory and petrol Superbs are harder to come by, especially in estate guise.

Are you looking for petrol or diesel?

Options really are Superb, Octavia, i40, Pug SW, Volvo V60, Mondeo, A4/A6 Avant and Ive probably forgotten 1 or 2. Personally with your budget, I’d be aiming for a reasonably well specced Octavia up the years or an older A6, both in petrol.

Have you test driven any estates?

I have a 2006 Subaru Outback and love it. Will probably replace it with a newer one when the time comes.
