Finding drunks.

    Found another one tonight.

Well, either he was drunk or he felt the urge to pray to Mecca. Mecca being located behind an industrial bin.

His phone and smokes on the ground beside him. He was having a little kerbside snooze, as you do.

Or maybe he was drinking from a puddle.

Anyway, I've found quite a few of our tipsy friends over the years.

For this guy I sent a text to his first contact, stood him upright, and pointed him north.

The one before him I had to call an ambulance for, since he was out cold.

Another one ran away and into a fence. Then got up and ran away again. In circles....I left him to his natural habitat.

(it was a suburban estate, fenced, so he'd tire out before he bounced his way out)

Anyone else in here ever find one of our slightly confused roadside friends?

Always best to send the message to Mum. At least he'll get in trouble for being a dick, no matter how old he is.

    Jesus.

I'd hope that if I was laying in the middle of a path at night in the drizzley weather that someone might maybe pick me up off the ground.

A common habitat of this particular species homo inebrius, is found in the immediate vicinity of take aways at about 2.30am in most towns around the country. Often very bellicose and attempting to fight one another over the limited pool of females available...
