    Hi all,

As stormy conditions are forecast for later, please see the below tips:

    - If you have a PAYG gas meter, we recommend purchasing a top-up this evening in case you cannot get to the shop tomorrow due to the storm.

    - If you have PAYG electricity, we advise the same as above (although we recommend keeping the code until before the credit-friendly hours end tomorrow morning); online top-up through Payzone is also available any time.

    - We are here on Electric Ireland Social Media until 6pm Monday to Friday, so if you need to contact Customer Service after 6pm, they are available to phone on 1850 372 372 (or 01 8529534) until 8pm Monday to Saturday.

    - Any power-line faults will be repaired by ESB Networks, so these are the folks to contact with queries regarding storm related outages (no matter which billing or PAYG company you are registered with). ESB Networks have a 24-hour telephone number, 1850 372 999. More information here on their website - they may require your electricity meter point reference number (MPRN) which is on a bill or letter.

    - Keep mobile devices and laptops charged as much as possible in advance of the storm, so that you will have online/telephone access should there be a power outage.

    - Keep batteries and torches handy.

    - Stay safe - report any electricity line related hazards to ESB Networks.
