Anyone else living in the area get a letter in the post yesterday from the council about the state of the road?

Apparently they've goten many complaint letters about it (one of which was from myself) and are promising to resurface it ASAP ("as a matter of priority" as they put it on the letter).

Whether they actually bother their arse to do it is another thing but it's good to see them acknowlege the apalling state it's in, currently. From the Venue Bar (where they did the tiniest bit of resurfacing last year for the opening of Pairc Ui Caomh) up to St. Joseph's Church in particular is dreadful.

One of many, many roads in the city that's faling apart.
