I'm surprised it hadn't happened to a player before this. PDC need to tighten the reigns on the crowd behaviour.

Some of the folk in there would’ve been drinking since 1pm today. Shocking behaviour right on MvG’s head too

The world championship crowd are usually the worst and least knowledgeable it seems of all the tournaments. Stupid chants and costumes and there for to get locked more than watch the match. They cheered for MVG last year all night that he was playing Cross and then did everything they could to put him off when throwing for the match.

The person who did that is prob laying on the ground somewhere now

A lot of Xmas nights out at these events who have **** all interest in the games and would cheer a glass of water being poured on stage

That's really terrible form. Thought the crowd were a disgrace during his game with Rob Cross last year too

I was hoping the Yaya/Kolo ditty would have faded out by this stage...

Can’t account for a knobhead like that.

Don’t remember an incident like that ever happening before.

Kicked out with a few digs off the bouncers and a life ban just the ticket for them.

God save the queen got an airing in the middle of a game today

    At least its a song

I felt sorry for the guy who played Alcinas earlier. The crowd did the Icelandic Clap thing during one of his turns at the oche. You could tell it broke his concentration on the way to scoring a 24. Was in the last set too

Boring, Boring Tables is definitely the worst of all the chants.

Happened to Adrian Lewis in the premier league a few years back too.

I don't think there's a word to describe how utterly mindless you'd need to be to do something as crap as that.

Not a bad afternoon session. Fancy Payne to cause Chizzy problems. Have a 19/1 treble done Kirk, Willie and Payne.

Christ on a bike Kirk is horrendous, how did he beat Taylor and Wright in the same tournament

Nice 107 checkout to win for O’Connor.

Agreed but Willie always seems to have one loose dart from the three in hand, probably what costs him against the better players

Payne will be down about that for a long time. Threw it away.

There’s been some poor performances so far but Hunt is appalling, I suppose expanding the draw allows some of the weaker players to get exposure but Christ that was dross!

The Ally Pally stage is probably a very intimidating place for many of them

I never understood how that came to be a regular chant at the darts. Heard it again this evening, it annoys me a lot more than it should.

Simple chant for simple.... well, anyways :)

That's one of the cool things about darts: players come in all shapes and sizes and haircuts.:P

Like what other sport's world championship would feature a 64-year-old Singaporean?:P

Poor lineup of matches tonight, even for first round standards.
