Both Ping and Callaway are good.

A hybrid is a combination of a wood and an iron, they can be good, they hit the ball longer and higher then a similar iron but shorter and lower then a wood of the same loft, they are more accurate then woods but not as accurate as irons.

The fairway is an area of shortly cut grass, a fairway club is also known as a wood as they were originally made out of wood.

The driver is the longest club with the least loft and biggest head. It hits the ball the furthest.
