I've an 2001 Merc C180 which inst running, fuel pump is gone and a few other bits and pieces, would there be much of a market for parts for this or just better off scraping it?

If you have the space and patience to be dealing with some unsavoury characters at your door then breaking it for parts will probably get you more money. As scrap it's worth well less than €100.

Is it a W202 or W203? There are a good few W203 still on the road so I'd say there is still demand for parts. Might also be worth advertising it on donedeal for a few hundred euro, might appeal to someone looking for a donor car.
