Are Scart adaptors universal?

I'm looking to get a scart adaptor for my Hannspree TV as the original one has been lost (the adaptor to give a scart socket to a TV which has none) and am wondering if the socket on the TV for the adaptor a generic one or does each brand have its own type? Thanks in advance.

There is no standard for these and they are usually proprietary, i.e. each set has its own particular type.
Hanspree might stock them as spares that you can buy.
