    Hi

    Looking for advises , I left my last job due to depression and anxiety and I went to my gp few days later to get help and meds I had to sign a cert but I put the wrong date on it and I got a letter saying I was working while on benifit they still paid me .

    My problem is I called them last week to advise I was returning to work this week and they said that was fine but I got another payment today which I should not have got .

    I have been trying there phone lines since wens and can't get through to tell them to stop paying me and to sort out that I out the wrong date on the cert .

    It was my mistake I didn't know what day it was due to depression leg alone the date .

    Any advises on what I need to do or should

    Phone lines are inundated at the moment because of their new system and people aren’t being paid left right and centre, myself included...

    You’ll need to get a final cert from your dr and send it to them to get the payments to stop.
    As for the overpayment, I’ve never been in that position so can’t help you there unfortunately.
