eir TV box errors - Changing Internal IP range for VPN

I've set up a VPN connection from home to my workplace to access servers etc.

Because my workplace uses an IP range beginning at the default 192.168.1.1 > my home routers (eir F2000) internal IP range has to be changed to 192.168.100.1 > (This was the only way I could get it to work - As advised by technical consultant) This works fine as expected.

The issue now is that as I have eir TV the set top box gives an error message every 30 seconds of "Your set top box must be connected to the Broadband connection for which it was registered."

Is this down to the VPN connection or the fact I've changed the internal IP Range?

I though the VPN is only a single connection from my PC to the Internal network of my workplace so should not effect the eir TV ot other devices.

I assume changing the internal IP range has made the eir TV box think its been moved from one house to another.

Is there a way of accessing the engineers install menu to reset and re-register the box on the new IP range? Eir have been absolutely no help.
