    Connacht are no better unfortunately.

they are winning away from home so yes they are doing better

Been a few of those. Serious amount of rust on Best's throwing tonight. A number of them dying badly before their target.

Looks wrecked, breathing very heavily on his last throw

The offsides aren't debatable at all. When Ferris admits it's offside you know you're offside.

The red card is one where people will have their opinions but I don't see there being much of a case to dispute it. Some referees would give yellow, some red. I don't think there can be many complaints.

Oh no don’t mean the offsides are debatable. Just unlucky in a sense. Poor discipline but a foot back and they’re both ok. Or if the TMO wasn’t as on the ball

Connacht have tackled McCloskey very well - around the ankles and bringing him to ground every time.

    Poor standard tonight.

3 more points might be enough for Connacht here as Ulster are unlikely to score 2 tries but making awful hard work of it.

They also have an extra man on the field, at one stage had two, and are still not even a converted try ahead.

I certainly wouldn't be boasting about this as a decent performance from a Connacht perspective.

Connacht have to sort out the breakdown. Losing too many turnovers.

Ferris is commenting noticeably different this year. He is going to a specific effort to be more balanced in his commentary on decisions and the performances from both teams. It's been a generally better commentary performance as a result, dispassionate for sure, but less strained and more insightful as a result. He's talked the viewers through some of the infractions very well, even when from an Ulster player.

Playing like the extra man will win the game for them on it's own. Might cost them yet.

Poor decision making is what's killing them, trying to force the kick when it's not on, silly handling errors and not managing the breakdown.

I see this game is being streamed live by eir's own channel on YouTube. Do they always do that for league games or was it a condition of their rights acquisition to make the Interpros available?
Lack of interest through their subscription model I'd say.

Only Yer Da types have Eir broadband, it's a monstrous expense to a Sky subscriber and if you have it through Eir mobile, you've bought a phone on a horrendous finance deal.

They have nothing to lose. it's on free on tg4 anyway so they can get free advertising by streaming this on YouTube to Irish residents without losing any exclusive broadcast rights

Plus those movies aged really badly while serial killers are timeless and inherently awesome

The sheer confidence of the ref about that forward pass was a bit obnoxious

Did they just say Connacht were trying to make a "hard Brexit"?
