Could be another yellow if Connacht get the squeeze on in the scrums again

Why tell Connacht to use it there? Bizarre

Ref says use it and then gets in Boyle's way.

What was that "use it" call about

  • Subscribers Posts: 42,813 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

Does it matter? It's generally just to help a viewer popping in and out to know progress to bonus points. And gauge try difference. Doesn't matter if they score the try or are awarded it by penalty.

    What????

The graphic was 5-14 and only called up TOH try and Carty conv.... It's obviously non sensical for any viewer "popping in"

Just saying its a short coming in their programming...

We've made no advantage of 2 spare men. A real danger we'll let Ulster back in.

Ulster looking very solid despite being 2 men down

Sometimes happens that the team with extra players slacks off thinking that the win will happen by itself. It doesn't. Gotta keep working just as hard.

Commentator forgot to use spoiler tags when mentioning the scores of the other two games

One of the those days for ulster where they’re just the wrong side of everything. Two very close offsides and a red card that will be debated. Connacht need a bonus point from here
The offsides aren't debatable at all. When Ferris admits it's offside you know you're offside.

The red card is one where people will have their opinions but I don't see there being much of a case to dispute it. Some referees would give yellow, some red. I don't think there can be many complaints.

I see this game is being streamed live by eir's own channel on YouTube. Do they always do that for league games or was it a condition of their rights acquisition to make the Interpros available?

Been a few of those. Serious amount of rust on Best's throwing tonight. A number of them dying badly before their target.

Connacht haven't done anything in 50 mins. It's not just Ulster.
