    Hi All,

Just looking for some help or tricks. I recently blocked up a exterior kitchen door. When it was plastered on the outside it looked grand. left it for a couple of months then painted it but you can see the outline of the door opening. The outside wall is fairly smooth with tiny dibbles. I also had a crack under the bedroom window, small one and filled it with filler looked grand put again when painted you can notice it.

Is there anyway of fixing this? A mate said to get a wire brush and do spiral motions over the joints to rough it up. Just dont know.

Assuming the Plaster finish itself is ok, No Cracks, Then you could try a coat of dark masonry paint to block out the image of the Door. Then a second coat of Masonry paint to suit any colour you like.

Its on exterior cement/plaster If I gave it a couple of coats do you think that will work? Or someone said to sponge/rag paint the outside?
