So Westlife coming back with a new album and tour surely means Nicky Byrne leaving 2FM and a gap in the schedule, or at the very least a lead presenter vacancy, from 10am to 1pm...who gets it?

I think E McD will be moved to mid mornings along with Jenny - he's had a good 3 year run on drivetime - with the drivetime show being taken over by Chris and Ciara. The 11am-1pm weekend show I think will be taken over by Conor Behan

They will put Lottie Ryan on with Jenny Greene, she was already a sub for Jennifer Maguire this year.

Jenny Greene is a great DJ on her own and doesn't need Lottie Ryan or E McD.
I can't stand either of those two, and Chris and Ciara shouldn't be allowed anywhere near Drivetime.

As for Breakfast Republic, it's an absolute disgrace of a show. Jenny Greene, and to a lesser extent Tracy Clifford, are the only reasons worth tuning into 2fm.

My daily listening is PJ and Jim in the morning (4fm), absolutely cracking show which has won the IMRO for best breakfast show for the 2nd year in a row. Then switch between Nicky and Jenny or Nikki Hayes (4fm), then usually Tracy Clifford followed by Damien Farrelly (4fm)

Jenny Greene can do the show on her own no problem but you just know that Dan Healy is going to draft in a sub!

Have to say Breakfast Republic (which was bearable for a while) has gone completely to pot since Jennifer has come back. She makes Lottie Ryan sound good which is a miracle akin to the loaves and the fishes.

Time to retire that show.

Does anyone agree that now that Greg James is doing breakfast on Radio 1, Eoghan McDermott should take over the drivetime show? It would be good to have him back on UK radio.

I agree with him on U.K. radio we won’t have to suffer listening to him over here.

Weekdays & Weekends, has Dan done a good job these past few years?
