Zero seeing as they showed him saying something in the preview for next week.

Paul has a go at Mongo and Mel...then he's all nice....whats he at....

Phoebe again playing a blinder as a caring teen...very rare in soaps these days...usually like Juliet...self obsessed...just sayin..

Erica very underwhelmed with the house...

No doubt it's the beginning of another 'plan' where Carrigstown's Bill Gates gets fleeced again but his lifestyle and alpha male demeanour stays the same.

Er, back up a little; is that a new actrsss playing Rachel?

Also going to the zoo just shows how shows can try to be "on time" but often fail; Covid ya baxtard ya!

The Erica / My Options booklet; guessing she would've picked it up at health centre; or is every thing from miscarriage to adoption to fostering to abortion ccovered in such a booklet?
In which case Inspector Pete might be jumping to conclusions.
Guessing Pete thinks it was a termination instead of a miscarriage......maybe....going by the preview clip at the end (see; no spoilers.....) he must do.

Love the decor in Hayleys flat above the Pig; then Dolores at the house-warming drinks looked like she was wearing the wallpaper mind!

New flat; Leo & Dean + Troys old place before being Seans pad most recently; if I was Ryan Andrews/Sean I'd be concentrating on the dance/acting school he has cos there's now no place for him; literally like; FC seem to've run out of road in terms of a storyline to keep him there. You look at Barry Keoghan & wonder where things might've gone for him if he wasn't tied down to Fair City; same with Jimmy Doyle; the actor went to the USA but is bar-tending/owns a bar; didn't he go to act?

    Anyway; til Wednesday folks!

You mean Ruth? I thought she might have been different but I checked the credits and it's the same as before.

Was watching Love/Hate last night and Sharon pops up wearing earrings the size of bicycle wheels as one of the traveller women.

Did u watch the top 10 moments in love /hate that’s on the rte player? Pretty funny. What season in love / hate is Sharon in?

I think they are concerned Erika made the decision on her own without consulting Doug. Pete is Doug's father, strange if he wasn't concerned.

More than likely Erika just had the info for all options.

She didn’t have an abortion. She had those leaflets prior to deciding she wanted to keep the baby. Honestly that Pete is a complete bollocks, he sees an abortion leaflet and assumes she had an abortion.

He's jumping to conclusions. But Erika is a bit flakey, calling off the wedding to Phillip etc. So I can see in his own head, he's looking out for Doug..and thinks Erika did a solo run.

I'm only trying to second guess how he's thinking. I agree he's a bollocks, always has been.

What'll happen now is he'll confront Erika, as we saw in the preview, and set her back after the trauma of the miscarriage.

If Dolly gets sanctimonious she's a hypocrite, she was chasing a priest, Fr. Thaddeus up the church into the confession box about 14 years ago!

My bad; yes of course I do; not the first time I've mixed up both on this thread sadly.

She's a good little actress in fairness & FC SWs're actually letting her speak in recent months & given her a decent storyline or two with the Callum/Oisin/Paul thing.

Time was, with Bela + Rita especially, the whole family got to talk; back then families were bigger in fairness too I guess.

In Fair City Pauls fam're the biggest with 4 (Rachel + Ruth, Callum & Oisin); Collins Fam were rared before they arrived on set so that's a bit different; Mairead & Will have Phoebe, Mondo has Juliette, Damien - Saoirse; Junior for Orla & Wayne & Jack for Carol; the only referred to since lockdown ended/filming resumed Ellie for Bob & Renee (I know she's Brendan & Heathers; as an aside the Heather story......kind of fizzled out; wonder why?).

When Dolores had cancer he didn't want Fr. Bertie near her, and was an atheist.

Now he's coming across as anti abortion. So he's some sort of humanist..

Ah feck I think he's just a bollocks!!

Yes Kira Cassidy. Pregnant in the summer of 2003. Both her and Mondo age 17.

Uh huh; Mondos ex; legit can't put a first name on her but am sure another contributor will.

While researching that a Wikipedia article came up & I was wondering what became of some ex cast.

One thing that I, for one, was shocked by, is the actress who played Harmony is.....48....FORTY SODDING EIGHT.

    And a Teacher.

Quite amazing re. Eleanor O'Brien (Harmonie). She'd pass for 18.

    The voice, everything about her.

You have the wrong Eleanor O'Brien. She is an American actress.

Loving the show the past few months after not having watched it in years. It's a shame the film never went ahead a few years ago it would have been fantastic.

Shucks. My bad. Legit did a search & the age & her IMDB etc. came up to the R.H.S. in a Google.

This is what came up (with her image up above it & the IMDB link below....)

"Eleanor O'Brien is a theatre and film actress from Limerick, Ireland. She plays the lead role Emily Blast in new series 'Blasts from the Past' for RTÉ Young People's Dept directed by Hugh Farley for Firebrand Productions.

    Eleanor O'Brien - IMDbwww.imdb.com › name
    Born: July 31, 1972 (age 48 years)"

    https://www.google.com/search?q=eleanor+o%27brien&rlz=1C1GCEA_enIE919IE919&oq=Elea&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i57j46j46i433j0i433j69i61l2j69i60.2417j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Clearly her image up on top of it (sorry, I lack the ability to link to the piece or bit I'm referring to) needs to be replaced.

My bad; shows over; no fun to be had & I apologise for mixing the 2 up; thanks for correction mind.

The fact that Anto refers to him as Compo Pete suggests that he is all high and mighty and righteous, but only when it suits him. He has inconsistent morals as Anto reckoned the compo claim wasn't entirely legitimate.

Nuff said, Pete is a dislikeable character.

Definitely looks like Google have mashed together elements of both actresses into one summary, so we have the Irish actress's picture and bio but the US actress's date of birth and family.

I think this is the right Eleanor O'Brien. If she was 19 starting at teacher training college in 2012 she would be 28 now.

Jaysus that was the most half hearted attempt at an apology from Pete that I've ever heard!
