    If i take up a fulltime position..does that mean my medical card is immediately null & void?

    Not sure of the current situation with it, but I know that in the past,on taking up a Full-time Job,you were still allowed to use your Medical Card for the first three years in your new Job. Not sure if that still stands though, I don't know what the current situation with it is.

    I think once get a medical card its valid until the expiry date.

    No. It can be invalidated at any time by medical cards if they decide that you no longer meet the Ts and Cs.

    Keyword on the page Linked is "may get to keep your medical card" ,
    May seems to a be neither here or there ,that's says you definitely get to keep your card for up to 3 years

    Someone told me before that once its issued you have it for atleast a year even if you become a millionaire.

    You need to have been in receipt of JSA for an unbroken period of at least 12 months and held the medical card for all of that period immediately before getting the job.

    If you’ve had an unbroken period of at least 12 months on JSA for the duration of which you held a valid medical card then, yes.
    If your whole household is giving up JSA then you will also get to keep for a year any child dependent increase you were getting (and 1/2 it for the second year) from DSP. It’s called BTWFD. You might get WFP too
