Women's work trousers that actually fit?

Any recommendations for slim fitting women's work trousers (suit trousers, I suppose) that actually go all the way down and don't stop above the ankle. I like to wear brogues and proper socks but that's a no-go with the trousers that seem to be in fashion now where half your leg is exposed. That was fine during the summer but I'm starting to get a bit chilly. I've tried next, h&m and M&S with no look. I also tried some mens in h&m but the fit was all wrong.

Zara is meant to be good for slightly longer length trousers.

I have the same problem! Can't find work type trouser that fit. Its ridiculous. They are always too tight at the waist and baggy in the crotch and leg!!

Well the other day I finally found a pair that fit in Mango. They are still a little baggy and short at the ankle now that I think of it. BUT considering how hard it was to find them I think they are quite good. :)

I literally came here to post the same query! Ive been wearing tapered crop trousers all summer but starting to feel the cool air now! Only alternative seems to be boot cut shape which just looks so dated now.

Banana Republic maybe. I have short legs so I have opposite problem but they seem to have a lot of different options. I also like Uniqlo but their deliveries are expensive in comparison to others.

Mango is another option as mentioned.

Having a similar problem, it drives me mad how every shop sells the exact same style of clothing and nothing practical. Try pennys or dunnes stores, they usually have a good selection of work pants and the quality is just as good as more expensive brands.

Not sure what the delivery costs/times to Ireland are but my favourite work trousers in the WORLD are the Pixie trousers from old navy....they come in 3 different lengths and almost every colour you would want and wash incredibly well. Everytime I go to the US I buy 5 or 6 pairs.

    Zara, Zara, Zara!!

Love their clothes. H&M do longer leg lengths though. I find Zara have short leg lengths, but I like that about them.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Will check them out. Glad I'm not the only one with this problem! :)

I'm small so I have the worst luck finding trousers that aren't baggy or too long. I shop mostly online now, ASOS is great. They have 'tall' trousers and a 'petite' section!

Absolutely next to impossible to find black 'work' trousers that A) fit properly and B) look halfway decent.

I'm delighted that we can now wear black jeans at work as long as they're plain and full length (ie: no rips or distressed denim)

Also appreciate the posts re longer pants.. my ankles are feeling the chill with the cropped styles! Trying to update my work wear and pants are just impossible to find. id also be grateful for any comfortable shoe recommendations to go with said pants...
