Whitestrand Rd. day parking

    hi, what's the story with parking on Whitestrand Rd. during week days, is it free and if it is why (it being so close to centre and this being Galway)? thinking of parking there instead of shelling out to the port. ta for any info.

    There's no problem at all as long as you're not on yellow lines. You'll have to get up early to get a space.

    If it becomes a problem of people parking in nearby estates then might see P & D introduced along Whitestrand Rd.
