    There's one.

In fairness these were not from Peugeots best era for reliability. If it's priced well I'd be tempted but I expect issues along the way. If you have none than happy days!

Renault Laguna Coupe is a really good alternative and it looks great as well as being very reliable and well equipped.
The 407 coupe was not bad looking but not as nice looking as its predecessor the 406 coupe. The 407 coupe is more of a cruiser than a car to throw around corners.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Been driving a 2.0 Hdi 407 coupe for the last 7 years.

Apart from a terrible set up with the heater flaps constantly breaking (controlling the hot / cold air from fan) I've had no major issues.

Only major costs have been a clutch and flywheel at 100k miles and timing belt around the same time.

Oh, the FAP system will need work at some point too. Can be remapped out and drilled for a permanent fix but that's frowned upon from an environmental point of view

Yes, you can throw this car around corners. Happiest cruising, but a great suspension setup.

407 Coupe 2.2 16v for 5 years now. Converted to lpg. Big tyre bills when a change is required. But quite reliable. Mine has 150k miles and still breathing.

Separate production line, same line as C6. The 407 Coupe was built to compete with German premium marques. And it did.

Very few issues with 407 Coupes. Do proper research.

I have.the C6 has it's fair share of issues too. Lovely car though but not as comfortable as an XM.

We're cut from similar cloth so. I had three Xantias. Have had my eye on a C6 for a while.
Biggest issue I had with the 407 Coupe was ball joints, a common 407 problem. Occasional electric Gremlins, but very minor. Other than the parking sensors ecu acting up. I did see where an online review said that that fault had thrown their car completely. But never did mine.
I put high speed high high mileage on mine and it got through almost 2 years of mixed road 1hr 45 each way commutes.

Great car for what it is.

There's a nice looking 09 Laguna Coupe GT for sale in Limerick on donedeal.

407 coupes look great from the back and the side, the front is abit too Peugeot 207 for my liking. They are a nice wide looking car though. I like wide cars, gives them presence.

I'd go with the Laguna Coupe though, Aston Martin on the cheap, from the rear anyways.

Or another alternative, a late model Hyundai Coupe ? 08' - 10' shape. They look like an Aston Martin from the front and the side, and a Ferrari at the back. Petrol though.... HOHOHOHO :p

But ye, I think the Laguna Coupe would be a nice car, wouldn't know what the hell it was when you see it going down the road. After dark people might think they saw James bond.
