    Probably a really obvious question. I'm feeding birds in garden all summer. Whats the small brown bird that always hangs out in large groups. They come from the hedgerows en masse to feed on the bird table. Are they sparrows? What's best to feed them in winter? They come every evening at same time, I feel responsible for them now
