24" monitor for home office: advice

Hi folks.

Investing in a monitor for home office and want a 1900x1200 for the, um, "squareness". Often review spreadsheets, as well as multiple apps open that I need to view at same time, so the extra vertical space of a 16/10 will be good.

Wondering if anyone has experience with the Dell u2415 or the HP Z24n? Or other similar (or cheaper?) alternatives?

Budget: €300 (incl. VAT)

Usage:

• 40% general email, browsing, etc.
• 20% viewing PDFs (research papers)
• 20% spreadsheets
• 20% live, streaming sports

I'm using a 26" TV as a 2nd display, getting 1920x1080 res. You'd prob get something similar for 50-60 euro. You know you can change the screen orientation and mount it vertically to get lots of screen height (fixings permitting) ?

I don't need *that* much vertical... :-D

Assuming its Windows, you can also have the taskbar at the side of the screen
