    Looks like it has got a bit of paintwork done to it. Back of car looks darker the front

    Worth noting if your looking at another example OP - the 1.8 tdci* Mondeo had a troublesome wet belt design.

    They failed earlier then their due change time - the belt goes through oil and I believe that causes it to fail. Leading to a wrecked engine.

    There was a thread on it on here ages ago.

    The 2.0 tdci is far better and a nicer drive too by all accounts

    (*I'm talking mk 4s here the Mk 3 never used a 1.8 tdci)

    Have a 2.0 Mk4 TDCI Titanium X estate and its a lovely car to drive, its heavy but still built for long journeys and motorway driving.
