Im reapplying to get back on Jobseekers Allowance, as im about to finish my 12 month TUS work placement scheme.I just have a few questions, with regards to some of the questions being asked on the application forms.

1 On the jobseekers claim part b form, there is the question have you made an unemployment claim in the last 5 years?Yes or no?I have been receiving jobseekers allowance in the last 5 years, but my original application claim for JSA was made before that time frame?I was also on a momentum program from December 2014, until May 2015.I was reviving BTEA allowance while on that program.I was then automatically transferred back on to JSA, when i finished that momentum program. So im unsure on what to tick there.

2 Have you been on a CE scheme in the last 5 years? Is the answer to that question no, seeing that the TUS scheme is a different program to the CE scheme?

3 The following questions are related to JSA UP1 form.Beside your normal occupation do i just write my current job, which is a charity shop worker on the TUS scheme.

4 My most recent work experience prior to that, was a work placement program on the Momentum program. So i presume i just refer to that, for the your last occupation section.

5 Is anyone claiming for you as a qualified adult on their social welfare payment?Do i need to reveal details of my fathers state pension there?

6 Are you at present C on a community employment scheme or D on a Solas or Local Employment Servies course?Seeing that i am on a TUS scheme, i presume i tick no on section c and yes on section d.

7 On the checklist of documents required sheet, the evidence of income from any other source section is ticked.Does that mean that i need to bring in payslips, in relation to my fathers work and state pensions.Although i understand that is only an issue if you are under the age of 25.

8 One final question, is my bank statement sufficient evidence of the wages i am being paid on the TUS scheme, or do i need to send them a payslip as well?

Maybe a lot of those questions are stupid, but i don't want the processing of my claim being delayed. So i think it's better to ask about anything im unsure about, before signing the actual forms.:)

    1 Yes
    2 No
    3 Yes
    4 Yes
5 Your father may be claiming for your mother as qualified adult but not you- only relates to spouse / partner. And you're over 25 therefore not a dependant child.
    6 Yes
7 No need to involve dad
8 They'll know already but bring as much paperwork as is handy (definitely the recent bank statement if it's for JA)
